What coverage is included in mortgage insurance?
Mortgage insurance has three components:
- Disability insurance: covers your insured mortgage payments if you are unable to work due to an accident or illness.
- Critical illness insurance: covers your insured loan balance if
you are diagnosed with cancer, stroke or heart attack.
- Life insurance: covers your insured loan balance in the event of your death, relieving your loved ones of a financial burden.
