What is the NBI Altamira CashPerformer Account?

The NBI Altamira CashPerformer® Account is a high-interest bank account that can be held in an RRSP, TFSA, RESP or pension plan/retirement fund. 

  • Minimum investment: $1,000

  • Maximum investment: $5,000,000 per client 

  • CAD rate: 1.10% as of September 19, 2022

  • USD rate: 1.10% as of April 3, 2023 

What will happen to my NBI Altamira CashPerformer Account?

Our cash solution solutions are changing. Effective June 3, 2024, National Bank Investments Inc. (NBI) will no longer offer the NBI Altamira CashPerformer Account or the NBI Altamira U.S. CashPerformer Account. No action is required if you have either of these accounts and wish to keep them. However, you won’t be able to carry out new transactions or make changes to an existing systematic savings plan. 

Make an appointment with an advisor to update your investment strategy and select an investment solution that best fits your needs.
