How do I get more details about a transaction?

Here's how to view your transaction details.

From your web browser:

  1. Sign in to your online bank.
  2. Click Overview in the left menu.
  3. Select the account you are interested in.
  4. Select the Transactions tab, then click on a transaction to view the details.

From your National Bank app:

  1. Sign in to the National Bank app.
  2. Select the account you are interested in.
  3. From the Transactions tab, click on a transaction to view the details.

You’ll see the following information:

  • Name of vendor
  • Transaction amount
  • Name of account used
  • Account balance after this transaction (not available on the National Bank app)
  • Category (you can change it, at your discretion)
  • Notes (you can add personal notes)
  • Name of the person who made the transaction (for an account with co-holders)
