How do I activate contactless payments with my debit card?
When you receive a new debit card, you must make an initial
transaction with your PIN to activate the
Interac® Debit contactless
payments feature.
First time use:
Insert your card into the payment terminal and enter your PIN.
Second time use:
You’ll be able to start using contactless payments.
