Take action to change lives today: our team gets involved

Every year, many active and retired members of our team want to make a positive impact in their communities.

From sporting events that benefit health research to donating Christmas gifts for underprivileged children, their philanthropic efforts touch the lives of many. We are proud to recognize their involvement by supporting the causes that are important to them in a concrete way.

Centraide campaign: together with the community

For more than 40 years, we’ve been able to rely on the generosity of our working and retired employees to support charitable organizations that meet the basic needs of people in need.

Our sporting events: moving together

The NB Grand Tour

This annual sporting event brings together hundreds of employees and retirees who cycle or run across a region of Quebec over several days. The funds raised are donated to the Fondation Jeunes en Tête and other local organizations that work with young people. Since the beginning of the NB Grand Tour, more than one million dollars have been donated to nearly 40 regional and provincial organizations.

The NB Classic

This hockey tournament is one of the largest fundraisers organized by one of Breakfast Club of Canada’s many partners. Since 1994, the organization has been working to ensure that more than 580,000 children across Canada have access to a nutritious breakfast and reach their full potential through nearly 3,500 school and community nutrition programs.

Other sporting events

Our team across Canada also actively participates in sporting events of other major health organizations. Namely, these include the Sun Life Ride to Defeat Diabetes for JDRF, the Pink Tour of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation as well as The Tour de Cure, British Columbia’s largest cycling fundraiser.

Our volunteer program

Give a helping hand to immigrants. Help prepare meals for people who are experiencing food insecurity. Organize conferences to talk about money in high schools.

Our employees are given every opportunity to give back to their communities. We encourage their willingness to help through our volunteer program.
