A different kind of financing

Crowdfunding is an alternative to traditional financing that can help you raise the money you need to carry out your project.

It's a way of raising money and awareness for your project at the same time. Crowdfunding lets you test the market, create a community and build an audience for your project.

Benefit from the expertise of Ulule and the support of National Bank

In 2015, driven by a desire to support crowdfunding initiatives, we formed a partnership with Ulule Canada, demonstrating our commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship.

Ulule’s process is simple

  • The Ulule team reviews each project that is submitted.
  • If a project is accepted, it is put online for a limited time (45 days on average) and will only be funded if it reaches or exceeds its funding target. With this all-or-nothing approach, project owners can see whether their initiative is supported and whether they will secure sufficient funding to carry it out.
  • If a project does not meet its funding target, the project owner does not collect any of the funding amount sought and no pledges are debited from donors' accounts. More than 14,000 projects have already been funded using this model, for a success rate of 65%.

65% of projects submitted to Ulule meet their funding targets.*
